John is a life long resident of Glen Burnie who has been actively involved in supporting the local community.

During the mid-1980s, when the Republican Party needed a strong North County candidate to take on a tax-and-spend Democrat, they turned to a young entrepreneur named John Grasso.  Although unsuccessful in his first run for political office 25 years ago, he has continued to be a leader and a voice for the taxpayers of Anne Arundel County.
